Dancing on the Water

It’s all about to enjoying sun, waves and beach in one package.  First of all, you need to know is the characteristic of waves to find the suitable one for you. After that, just paddle your board and go surfing! Bali is the famous destination in Indonesia, also known not only a tropical getaway or a honeymoon spot but also surfer’s paradise.

In 1930, Bali entering the surfing era’s and since that Bali cachet as top notch tourist destination. It also raised the Bali’s economic development. The uniqueness about Bali is, the easy-accepted foreign culture into their daily life without changing the culture. So with or without the foreigner, they still have a balance life.

Bali and its surrounding island have some great wave for surfer, from beach break for beginner until a barrel for pro’s. Bali’s position in southern Indian Ocean and the unique geographic fact of Bali take a part to ensure swells all year round.

The easiest and friendly wave for a beginner to test surfing skills is Kuta Beach, but beware the locals and rubbish crowd that almost covered up the beach. After all you can go to Double Six that only 30 minutes walk from Kuta Beach that perfect to catch a wave. Double Six is also a well-known beach for its pub and night life.

The good things in Kuta and Double Six, that there are plenty of lifeguard along the beach and also there lot of surfing school and stores over the beach. Maybe if you think the surf school is expensive, you can learn from the locals rental along the beach (just ask them, basically they’re also a surfer, you can see the curved of their body :p).
